BioAlia Atreides, sister to Paul Atreides, Emperor and prophet Muad'dib. Alia's mother, Lady Jessica, took spice melange while pregnant with Alia and so she was "pre-born", brought to consciousness before birth. This has given her certain special powers and also the lingering threat of Abomination, possession by one of the spirits of her ancestors...
To her enemies, Alia is known as Coan-teen, "the female death spirit who walks without feet", and Hawt, "the Fish Monster". Her followers call her St. Alia of the Knife.
